Companies have enjoyed a productivity boom that allowed
them to employ less and less people and stifle wages. That trend
seems to be over. The Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that 33
percent more people are quitting than in 2003, and half a
million new positions have opened since last summer...

The first, most telling piece of evidence: The number of
workers who are delivering take-this-job-and-shove-it speeches
and bailing for more rewarding, less spirit-crushing work is at
a five-year high.

for workers is now boiling over, strengthening employees' hands
